Libro de la envida [the book of envy]

The book of envy was an artbook with images that when
I saw them, the essential emotion they generated in me was not of admiration nor a drive of engaging with them in a deep level but a desire that I had thought of them, I had done them, that they were part of my body of work in some sense, and by indulging in that base desire, actually accrued not the projects but at least a version of their documentation.

The piece was shown in Por Estos Días’ closing exhibition, PED was an artist run space and one of the artists curated this last event.
Some of the artists that visited the space regularly, the artist curating it and some of the other runners of the space were among the authors whose pieces I admitted to envying.
